From childhood

Family-owned since 1908, today in the 4th generation.

My parents already instilled a high standard in me, so it was more a pleasure than a sense of duty when I took over the restaurant in the heart of the Ruhr region in 1993. The cosy corner pub of yesteryear has since become one of the 200 best restaurants in Germany. In the Feinschmecker, the Guide Michelin and the gourmet guide Gault Millau we have been awarded this distinction for years. This makes our passion for unique cuisine bubble up anew every day.

A long way!

It was a long and hard way, but today I am proud of what I have achieved and especially of my team. Only together could we get this far and today we are one of the gourmet addresses in the region. With simple but refined elegance, I have transformed the premises into the right setting and created an oasis for enjoyment, taste and conviviality for my guests.
